I don't think the blog gets a lot of traffic so I'm just going random for tonight.
I have one more post on the Real Life Lessons in Forgiveness and I'm hoping to finish that this weekend.
Funniest thing heard on twitter today -
While swine flu, or H1N1, gets all the attention, cooties sit back and quietly plot their comeback.
Very thankful for Facebook's friendly block feature. It is saving what little sanity I have left right now.
Lib has a fun day tomorrow as she is in a role in the church Christmas musical / drama. They are filming her role and will be all day tomorrow. I can't go but my Mom is taking her. (it's been approved as an approved absence from school)
There's an awesome weekend ahead. Lib has a barrel race and Lu is participating in a Rising Star program. She's been paired with an amazingly beautiful contestant and we are so excited. Can you imagine how shocked we were to find out that her platform is "Diabetes Awareness"? Her life was impacted by a family friend who passed away from Diabetes. And if you know us, then you know my late husband, Lib and Lu's Dad passed away 6 yrs ago from complications from Diabetes.
November is National Diabetes Awareness Month. www.jdrf.org
Let's find a cure and raise awareness!
Thanks to Lib's vocal coach, Lib was able to sing at a public performance last weekend. She enjoyed it and is looking forward to singing at her horse show this weekend.
I'm just ready for the weekend, even in all its busy-ness. I'm also glad my husband is home to participate in the weekend activities!
Hope you have a great weekend ahead! Tomorrow is a huge TGIF for me!
